A dormant customer is one who has not completed a purchase within the last 3 months. Target these customers with a specially composed email to entice them to purchase. This step by step tutorial will show you how to send an email to your dormant customers via the zen cart admin.
1. Log into your zen cart admin and go to Tools -> Send Email.
2. There are 5 bits of information to fill out:
- A. Text Editor
- B. Customer: Select “Dormant Customers (> 3 months) (subscribers)”
- C. From:
- D. Rich Text Message: and Text-Only Message:
And click on the preview” button.
3. Review your message and click on the “send mail” button.
At the top of your admin page, in green you will see the message “Notice: Email sent to: Dormant Customers (>3months) (Subscribers)”
